DAILY PRAYER OF ST FRANCIS

My God and my All, Who are you,
My sweetest Lord and God?
And who am I,
a poor little worm your servant,
most Holy Lord
I wish to love you, O Lord My God: I have given you all my heart and all my body,
And I most earnestly desire,
If I only know, to do still more for your love. Amen.
PRAYER FOR PEACE

O God, from whom are all Holy Desires, Right Counsels, and Just Works give to your Servants that Peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts, being disposed to keep your Commandments,
and the fear of enemies being removed, the times by your protection may be Peaceful.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
San Damiano Crucifix
PRAYER FOR TOTAL
SELF- GIVING

I beg you, Lord, let the fiery, gentle power of Your love take possession of my soul and snatch it away from everything under Heaven, that I may die for love of Your love, as you saw fit to die for love of mine.
St. Francis

PRAYER IN THE SPIRIT OF ST FRANCIS

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not
So much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.
