Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception
St. Francis Province

The St. Francis Province was born on November 8th 2013 at the Provincial Assembly held at Our Lady of Apostles Conference Center, Maryland Lagos.

The Nigeria Province was divided into St. Francis Province, Immaculate Conception Region and Our Lady of the Angels Region. St. Francis Province has its
Headquarters ( Provincialate ) in Lagos with twenty-four (24) sisters. The Province is made up of Archdiocese of Lagos and the Dioceses of Ijebu-Ode and Abeokuta.

The Sisters are involved in different apostolates such as; Teaching, Nursing, Social work ,Pastoral work and Communications.

There are seven communities spread over two Dioeceses and one Archdiocese.

Our Provincialate is located at 23rd Street, First Unity Estate, Badore/Ajah in Lagos. The sisters work at Our Lady and St. Francis Catholic Hospital Badagry owned by the Congregation and other Diocesan Clinics. They also work in Diocesan Schools and Orphanage.

The Province is about establishing a girls' High School at Ilogbo/Erimi in the Archdiocese of Lagos.
